Inventory licences and dependencies
Record every active option or licence, its version, renewal term and the operating system or application that depends on it. A capability can vary by server model and contract, so confirm eligibility before designing a workload around an add-on.
Attach a customer-owned licence
Under Options, choose the appropriate customer-owned licence type and provide its identifier and version. Confirm that the installed operating system and application edition are eligible for that licence, then verify activation inside the licensed software after attachment.
Order an add-on
Confirm the server hostname, technical compatibility, billing period and recurring price before adding capacity or a licence. Delivery of an add-on and activation inside an operating system can be separate steps; test the resulting feature before scheduling dependent production work.
Remove an option or licence
Identify what will stop working, prepare a replacement licence or configuration and schedule a maintenance window. Revoke the option only after the dependency has been moved, then verify both application function and future renewal records.
